REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

A SUSTAINABLE

PRODUCTION APPROACH

In order to leave a better world for future generations, we must reduce our carbon footprints together. For this, we carry out environmentally friendly production at the highest standards and support sustainable production and lifestyle.

All stages of our production follow OEKOTEX-100 standards. Our production company is also a member of BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), a global organization that supports sustainability in cotton production.

Our products are produced containing Lyocell, Tencel, Tencel Modal, Ecovero, Birla Cellulose, Livaeco with fibers obtained from sustainable tree sources that we supply from certified producers such as Lenzing, Birla, Eastman Naia. In addition, we can produce wool-containing fabrics with the yarns supplied from Südwolle.

We know the importance of recycling in conserving resources; For this reason, our products use recycled yarns by GRS and RCS standards.

Clothing Support

As a clothing brand that values the social component of business, we want to give something back to the communities we operate in: We are currently donating clothes to Centre Heura in Gràcia for homeless people.

Gràcia is home to our first international flagship store and we feel it is our responsibility to also participate in philanthropic activities in the neighborhood.

Since 1999, the Heura Open Center has been a low-demand reception service for the homeless, aimed at restoring human dignity. Among other services and activities, they offer a space for reception, relationships, and support: a space for social care. Quality services that cover basic needs: shower, wardrobe, and hairdressing. A space of relationship and bond that aims to improve a person's self-esteem, foster relationships, teamwork, and a sense of belonging; which facilitates the recovery and/or discovery of skills, through socio-educational workshops. Heura Center is part of the Barcelona Homeless Care Network (XAPSLL). It is managed by the Associació Center Obert Heura Gràcia.
